I’ve been spending my time recently prepping for a project using a philosophy which I feel will certainly change the way events are done, that is inbound marketing. The idea of inbound marketing is to get in contact with people who are already interested in the content you are providing in your events but you just haven’t found each other yet. The elements are projecting interesting content, and making it easy for readers to find you, then continuing the stream of valuable content and starting threads of interesting content which draws others.
The tough side is that you have to consistently provide the content in order to keep the attention of those interested.
I, who is usually the last one to jump on the bandwagon, is driving the horses on this one. Stay tuned….
